Jacob ...

Jacob might be tough on the outside, but on the inside this kid is longing for attention and for the love of our Savior. He attended Camp last year, and was placed in the best cabin possible - Rooster's Cabin (Darrell Hunnicutt's).

Watching this young man be nurtured and trained in Godliness by Darrell was amazing! It was the perfect thing for Jacob who has little contact with his father. Words cannot describe how important the relationships formed at camp are in young Jacob's life.

Behind in school, he might not understand all that he hears being taught, but he absolutely cannot help but miss the living examples before him at camp. This wasn't just from the adult counselors either!!

Jacob participated in a Bible verse memorization contest last year. One of the other young boys from a Christian background was quizzing him and encouraging him to study hard! What a sight to see, and what an impact that had on his young life!

Please help us to be a blessing in Jacob's life at Camp Rocks! again this year as well!
